"Housing" is discussing with the Saudi Fund for Development developments in housing projects

The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning held a number of bilateral meetings with the delegation of the Saudi Fund for Development on the occasion of the delegation's visit to the Kingdom, in order to discuss developments in the implementation of a number of housing projects funded by the Gulf Development Program, in the presence of His Excellency Engineer Asim Abdul Latif Abdullah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, and from the Fund His Excellency Eng. Bandar Al-Obaid, Director General of Arab Countries Operations, and Eng. Abdullah Al-Sahil, Director of the Middle East Relations Department, in addition to a number of officials.

During the meeting, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning welcomed the delegation of the Saudi Fund for Development, appreciating their efforts in supporting a number of housing projects within the Gulf Development Program. This was followed by a review of developments in a number of housing projects, and identification of completion rates and workflow, whether in the construction or infrastructure aspects. The Ministry accompanied the members of the delegation on field tours of the projects that are being implemented in cooperation between the two sides.

The delegation of the Saudi Fund for Development expressed its pleasure in cooperating with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and relevant authorities in the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain, stressing that this cooperation derives from the historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

At the end of the visit, it was emphasized to continue meetings and follow up on developments between the two sides, in a way that contributes to the completion of projects according to the established timetables.
