Engineer Basem bin Yaqoub Al-Hamr, Minister of Housing, received in his office in the Ministry’s office His Excellency Representative Hamad Al-Kooheji, Member of Parliament, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing Sheikh Khalid bin Hamoud Al Khalifa. It would enhance cooperation and coordination between the Ministry of Housing and the House of Representatives, in order to implement housing programs that ensure adequate housing for all citizens.
The meeting touched on ways to enhance joint cooperation between the Ministry of Housing and the House of Representatives, and support the ministry’s plans to meet the requests on the waiting lists, by accelerating the pace of work on housing projects listed on the ministry’s plans, and the progress of housing projects under implementation in the new cities of Bahrain, and the ministry’s plans were also reviewed. To meet housing requests in the Kingdom’s governorates, including Muharraq Governorate.
At the end of the meeting, His Excellency Representative Hamad Al-Kooheji, Member of Parliament, thanked the Ministry of Housing for its tangible efforts in providing social housing for citizens, expressing his readiness to cooperate with the Ministry to implement those plans and projects according to the timetables set for them.
