Engineer Bassem bin Yaqoub Al-Hamr, Minister of Housing, stated that the housing units provided by Salman City so far have contributed to meeting the housing demands of more than 3,500 Bahraini families, and they form the nucleus of a new urban community in one of the largest strategic cities implemented by the Kingdom's government, in light of the economic vision 2030.
On the sidelines of an anniversary, the minister said that His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, First Deputy Prime Minister, laying the foundation stone for the city, which falls on the third of October, said that the government pays great attention to the projects of new Bahrain cities in general and the city of Salman in a way. Engineer Al-Hamr explained that the esteemed government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Honorable Prime Minister, is keen to raise the standard of living for citizens by providing adequate and quality housing in terms of designs and components of housing units, in addition to paying attention to the service and environmental surroundings of these units, which is the matter. Which was included in the general and detailed plans of the city, and was applied in the phases that have already been constructed in Salman City, as this comes in implementation of the commitments contained in the government program.
The minister said that His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister is constantly keen to follow up the progress of work on projects in Salman City, and always directs to the importance of providing public services and facilities when establishing new housing cities as a priority when implementing, as well as preparing all infrastructure work. Al-Hamr said that the ministry continues to plan and implement future phases in Salman City in order to provide more housing units, stressing that it has taken proactive steps represented in extending the areas designated for future projects with infrastructure services, thus contributing to shortening the implementation cycle of planned units projects in those areas, and from Then the speed of allocating them to citizens.
