Her Excellency Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, witnessed the start of foundation casting work for the project to establish 69 new housing units in Salman City, which falls within the Ministry's plan to implement 137 new housing units in Salman City in partnership with the private sector, as part of the government land development rights program projects, in the presence of Mr. Abdullah Ali, CEO of Delmon Real Estate Gate Company, and a number of officials.

On this occasion, Minister Al Rumaihi stressed that the successive rollout and implementation of government land development rights program projects reflects the acceleration of the program's path as one of the main paths within the framework of the executive plan for the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, to accelerate the pace of housing projects to provide 50,000 housing units Pointing out that the program is a priority for the government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, and the program continues to achieve its goals by strengthening partnerships with the private sector and investing its capabilities and expertise in developing housing projects and providing quality options for citizens.

She added that the Government Land Development Rights Program is an advanced model for partnership between the public and private sectors in the housing sector, as it contributes to creating a development path that supports increasing the supply of housing units, raises the efficiency of project implementation, and provides various housing products that suit the needs of Bahraini families and beneficiaries of various housing programs.

The Minister pointed out that the program achieved positive results through a number of projects that were proposed and implemented, including the «Suhail» project in the Al-Lawzi area, the «Al-Naseem District» project in Salman City, the «Al-Wadi» project in the Al-Buhair area, and the «Danat Hura Sand» project, which witnessed a turnout from citizens, reflecting the effectiveness of the program in providing housing options that meet the aspirations of beneficiaries.

She explained that the start of the foundation casting work for the new project comes according to the timetable approved since the signing of the partnership agreement, stressing that the project represents an extension of the existing cooperation between the Ministry and Delmon Real Estate Portal Company, after the implementation of the «Al Naseem District» project in Salman City, which included the construction of 131 housing units and was offered to beneficiaries of housing financing programs.
Minister Al Rumaihi confirmed that the Ministry continues to work to expand the scope of government land development rights program projects in various regions of the Kingdom of Bahrain, which enhances the private sector's contribution to providing housing projects and supports the achievement of national goals aimed at accelerating the provision of housing services to citizens.

She also praised the efforts of Delmon Real Estate Gate Company and its commitment to implementing the project in accordance with the approved technical and engineering standards and the specified timetable, noting that the company's continued cooperation projects with the Ministry in implementing government land development rights program projects contribute to enhancing the housing supply and providing additional options for citizens 

For his part, Mr. Abdullah Ali, CEO of Delmon Real Estate Gate Company, expressed the company's pride in continuing cooperation with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning through this project, stressing that the partnership with the Ministry represents a practical model for integration between the public and private sectors in implementing housing projects.

He explained that the new project constitutes the second phase of joint cooperation between the two sides after the implementation of the «Al Naseem District» project in Salman City, noting that the successes achieved by the government land development rights program projects confirm the effectiveness of this model in accelerating the development of residential projects and providing suitable options for beneficiaries of housing programs.

He stressed the company's keenness to implement the project according to the highest approved technical and engineering specifications, and to adhere to the specified timetable, ensuring the completion of the project according to the established targets and supporting national efforts aimed at providing more housing projects for citizens.

It is worth noting that the project is being built on a total area of 13,891 square meters, while the residential unit areas range between 174 and 261 square meters, with an average of 200 square meters per unit, with unit prices that comply with the requirements of the Ministry's financing programs in cooperation with the financing banks.
