The Equal Opportunities Commission of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning held its fourth periodic meeting this year, chaired by H.E. Ms. Donia Faisal Sarhan, Assistant Under-Secretary for Resources and Information of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning.
During the meeting, the Ministry's achievements and developments in the strategic plan of the Committee for 2024-2026, which included a series of initiatives aimed at developing a supportive working environment for the Ministry's employees, were discussed. The importance of building on these achievements and employing them to support the aspirations of the staff and to enhance their contributions to the future objectives of the Committee was emphasized.
The Committee also discussed its plans for 2025, which included initiatives aimed at supporting women and enhancing their role in the housing sector, in order to raise awareness and enhance women's access to opportunities in this area, thereby contributing to their empowerment and meeting their aspirations within the framework of national plans.
