As part of official visit to the Republic of China Ministry of Housing reviews ready-mixed concrete technology for construction projects

HE Minister of Housing and Urban Planning Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi and the accompanying delegation participated in a specialized workshop organized by the Chinese company CMEC in Beijing on innovative construction technology that enhances the quality and speed of construction projects.
The workshop reviewed the work mechanism of "ready-mix concrete" technology, which is applied in many major projects in the friendly People's Republic of China, and the multiple advantages it provides in the implementation of housing projects, especially the speed of completion of residential units and buildings due to the ease of installation of structural structures, in addition to its durability and high quality in construction, and its compliance with specifications for thermal and noise insulation, water and fire resistance.
Her Excellency the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning praised the outcomes of the workshop and the diversity of architectural construction methods in the Republic of China, especially the precast concrete technology, which has proven its effectiveness in many international projects.
The Minister emphasized the importance of cooperation with Chinese companies in exchanging knowledge, cumulative experiences and innovative ideas in the construction sector to achieve common goals and contribute to the development of housing projects and accelerate their implementation, while adhering to the highest quality standards to provide adequate housing for citizens.
The workshop was attended by Engineer Balsam Al-Salman, Assistant Undersecretary for Engineering Affairs, Mr. Khalid Al-Qasimi, Director of the Industrial Development Department at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, and a number of officials from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and CMEC.
