In implementation of the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to distribute 6,800 housing services to citizens, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning continued the procedures for handing over housing units to beneficiaries. Projects include Salman City, East Hidd City, and East Sitra City. The Ministry also continued the procedures for disbursing housing financing to citizens.
The Ministry said that the procedures for handing over housing units to citizens are proceeding at an accelerated pace according to the ongoing schedule until the end of next February, noting that the current time is witnessing the beneficiary citizens conducting electronic withdrawals on the units, and then signing contracts and completing legal procedures in preparation for receiving the keys to the housing unit.
The Ministry also continues the procedures for disbursing housing financing to citizens who apply to benefit from the three types of “Tas’heel” financing, “real estate facilitation, cooperation facilitation, and Al-Bayt Al-Oud facilitation,” in addition to financing the benefits of the new category.
The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning indicated that the demand for submitting requests to benefit from housing financing through the website is witnessing a continuous growth by citizens, in light of the flexibility and diversity of financing purposes it provides and the speed in obtaining suitable housing.
