Today, Thursday, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning organized a celebration for its employees on the occasion of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s celebration of its national holidays, commemorating the establishment of the modern Bahraini state during the era of the founder Ahmed Al-Fateh as an Arab Muslim state in 1783, and the anniversary of the accession of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the great king of the country, may God protect him. He sponsored him to the reins of government, in the presence of Her Excellency Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, His Excellency Engineer Asim Abdul Latif Abdullah, Undersecretary of the Ministry, and senior officials in the Ministry.
On this occasion, Her Excellency Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, extended her warmest congratulations and blessings to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Chairman of the Council of Ministers. The Ministers, may God protect him, and congratulate the people of the Kingdom of Bahrain on this National Day.
Al-Rumaihi stressed that this dear occasion coincides with the ministry’s response to the high royal directives of His Majesty the King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and the order of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him, to begin distributing 6,800 housing services, and to begin delivering ready-made housing units. It will be available to its beneficiaries starting December 16, which will double the citizens’ joy and celebration of this occasion.
Minister Al-Rumaihi said that this occasion is an opportunity to maximize the national achievements that have been achieved on the ground through the development of many development and housing projects that provide a decent living for citizens, stressing that the Ministry is harnessing all its energy to provide quality housing services to citizens in accordance with the government’s 2023-2026 program, which it seeks. The Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain to implement it to achieve greater good and development for the nation and the citizen.
The ceremony included various activities for employees and citizens of the Ministry, where national shows were presented in addition to entertainment activities, and traditional, popular, and national shows in front of the main gate of the Ministry building in the diplomatic area.
