Her Excellency Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al-Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, made an inspection visit to a number of existing projects in the city of Salman, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry, His Excellency Eng.
During the visit, the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning confirmed that the existing projects in the city of Salman are witnessing an acceleration in terms of completion rates, with the aim of speeding up the delivery of units and apartments for ownership to the citizens benefiting from the project, noting that the infrastructure work in the city is proceeding at the same accelerated pace.
The minister said that Salman City is currently witnessing the implementation of 303 housing units, in addition to more than 1,300 ownership apartments, in addition to preparing residential plots and providing them with infrastructure services to make them ready for construction.
The minister noted that the most prominent characteristic of the existing Salman City projects is the use of modern and advanced building models, whether in residential units or ownership apartments that are being implemented according to the sixth generation of residential buildings, where the interior model of the apartments was designed based on studies during which citizens’ wishes and observations were taken into account. .
The minister touched on the service projects that will be implemented in the city according to the approved priority plan for housing city projects, as she indicated that the ministry is working according to a coordination plan with the relevant authorities to implement these projects, which include 3 mosques, 6 mosques, 4 kindergartens and 3 schools, in addition to the park. Central, civil defense center, police station, health center, as well as communication towers and coast guard points and towers.
The minister confirmed that the progress of completion rates in the city of Salman is also accompanied by the progress of the implementation of projects in other housing cities, such as the city of East Sitra, the city of East Hidd and Khalifa City, as the ministry seeks to adhere to the timetables for the implementation of its projects.
