Her Excellency Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al-Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, held a bilateral meeting with His Excellency Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on the sidelines of her visit to the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
During the meeting, Minister Amna Al-Rumaihi noted the depth of the historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in various fields, in light of the support and care it enjoys from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the country's great king, and his brother, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may God protect and preserve them, noting the fruitful cooperation between the two kingdoms to provide social housing services for citizens, and expressing her aspirations to enhance that cooperation during the next stage.
During the meeting, the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning also praised the efforts of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and its ambitious programs based on partnership with the private sector for the speedy provision of housing services to citizens, especially the "sakani program", which is one of the pioneering programs, which aims to support and provide Saudi citizens to raise the percentage of owning residential real estate.
During the meeting, Minister Al-Rumaihi reviewed the programs of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning to provide social housing services to citizens in the Kingdom, which are being implemented within the framework of the royal directive regarding the continuation of development plans for the housing sector with its innovative solutions and huge investments, in partnership with the private sector, to secure decent and appropriate housing for citizens, and what was stated In the government program 2023-2026 regarding the provision of decent, appropriate and distinguished housing services for citizens.
The minister indicated that the new housing finance program comes at the forefront of the ministry's priorities to provide immediate housing services to citizens, through the "Facilitation" and Mazaya services, by providing various financing, noting that this program has contributed to the provision of housing services to a large number of citizens since its inception in Last August, in record time.
For his part, His Excellency Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, praised the Kingdom's efforts in providing housing services to citizens in partnership with the private sector, stressing keenness to enhance cooperation between the two brotherly countries to exchange expertise and experiences, in a way that contributes to the development of housing services provided to citizens.
