Service Overview :You can submit a request to annex the corner/corners through the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning website, towards the implementation of His Majesty the King’s Royal grant regarding the free-of-charge distribution of corners to citizens in housing areas to develop the old housing area and determine the final ownership boundaries of the housing units. As for the new areas, they were designed and planned according to engineering, technical, and urban standards, as well as considering the identification of all spaces and their usage in the plan.

Terms of Service


  • Receipt of the application does not imply approval of the application.
  • If the consent of the neighbor is required, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning (MOHUP) requires the applicant to coordinate with his/her neighbor to visit the office of the Cities Development Group at the Ministry’s building on the 6th Floor in the Diplomatic Area, accompanied by the original Title Deed to obtain his notarized approval to complete the required procedures.
  • The approved corner must not conflict with the terms, laws, and regulations of MOHUP and other government entities in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
  • In the case of the existence of public services, and the approval of the authority responsible for these services to remove them, the costs of removal shall be at the expense of the applicant.
  • If approved to grant the corner, a government agency may require that the applicant be responsible for preserving services located underground or above ground and conducting the necessary maintenance if needed.
  • Real Estate owned by banks or companies according to the title deed shall be excluded from the Royal Grant of free-of-charge corners.
