The Establishment of the Ministry of Housing

In September of 1975, the late Emir His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa issued decree 18 stipulating the establishment of the Ministry of Housing. The decree stipulated that the ministry provides social housings for Bahrainis with low income, and His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa was appointed as the Minister of Housing in 2002.
