Laying the Foundation Stone for East Sitra Project

On the 15th of June of 2015, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa deputized His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa to attend the ceremony of laying the foundation stone for East Sitra Project, which included 3,000 housing units and lands.

The project is located near Sitra Island in the Capital Governorate, and is a unique project with a sustainable environment in addition to a number of facilities, including mosques, schools, libraries, stores and entertainment services.
