Laying the Foundation Stone of Isa Town

In 1963, the late Emir of Bahrain His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa patronized the ceremony of laying the foundation stone of Isa Town, and it is the town that carried his name. This event was the first step of the government in a march to provide social housing services for citizens.

Isa Town represented a real model of how to implement comprehensive strategic projects until this day, through its infrastructure and establishments of facilities and services.  

Now while building the new cities, all experiences are based on the first project. Isa Town project included the establishment of 5,650 housing units.
